We collect information you provide directly, information generated by your use of Eclipse SI, and limited technical information needed to operate the service.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to operate and improve Eclipse SI:

Provide AI-powered chat, research, and productivity responses
Personalize Eclipse SI's responses based on your preferences and goals
Remember context across your conversations (with your consent)
Send push notifications you opt into
Process subscription payments and manage access tiers
Monitor platform health and fix bugs
Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your conversations to train external AI models. Your data is used only to serve you.

Section 03

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only with these trusted service providers under strict data processing agreements:

OpenAI — AI response generation, image analysis, and voice transcription
PayPal — Payment processing for subscriptions
Apple / Google — In-app purchase processing via App Store / Google Play
RevenueCat — Subscription management across platforms
Expo (Push Notifications) — Delivery of push notifications to your device

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of users and the public.

Section 04

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on encrypted servers. We implement the following security measures:

End-to-end encryption for sensitive conversation content
AES-256 encryption for data at rest
TLS 1.3 encryption for all data in transit
Role-based access controls — only you can access your conversations
Audit logging of all administrative actions
Biometric authentication support (device-level)

Zero-Trust Architecture: Eclipse SI uses a zero-trust security model. Even our own team cannot read your private conversations without your explicit consent and appropriate legal process.

Section 05

AI & Personalization

Eclipse SI learns from your interactions to become more helpful to you specifically. This includes:

Remembering your preferences, goals, and communication style
Building a personal knowledge base from topics you discuss
Adapting response length, tone, and depth over time
Tracking your progress on goals and skills you share

This personalization data is stored in your account and is never shared or used to train AI models outside of serving your personal experience. You can clear your memory at any time from Profile → Memory Control.

Section 06

Your Rights

You have full control over your data. Within the Eclipse SI app you can:

Access — View all data we hold about you (Profile → Privacy Dashboard)
Export — Download a complete copy of your data as JSON
Delete — Permanently delete your account and all associated data
Correct — Update your profile information at any time
Opt Out — Disable personalization and AI memory at any time
Withdraw Consent — Revoke any permissions you've granted

If you are in the European Union, you have additional rights under the GDPR including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Section 07

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Specific retention periods:

Conversations — Retained indefinitely until you delete them or close your account
Voice recordings — Deleted immediately after transcription is complete
Images uploaded for analysis — Not stored after processing
Audit logs — Retained for 12 months for security purposes
Account data — Deleted within 30 days of account closure, with a cryptographic deletion receipt issued

Section 08

Cookies & Tracking

The Eclipse SI mobile app does not use third-party tracking cookies. The web version of Eclipse SI uses:

Session cookies — Required for authentication; expire when you close the browser
Preference cookies — Remember your display preferences (dark mode, etc.)

We do not use advertising cookies or behavioral tracking. We do not participate in cross-site tracking networks.

Section 09

Children's Privacy

Eclipse SI is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at adorsey30@gmail.com and we will delete that information promptly.

Section 10

Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

Post the updated policy at this URL with a new effective date
Send an in-app notification to all users
For significant changes, request your renewed consent

Continued use of Eclipse SI after policy changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
